On this week’s episode of The Game Informer Show, we discuss Sony’s The Future of Gaming event where it revealed the PlayStation 5 hardware and showed glimpses of over 25 games, including Horizon II: Forbidden West, Deathloop, Resident Evil Village, and Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart. Please join me, Alex Stadnik, Jeff Cork, and Dan “The Jacket” Tack for our reactions, both good and bad.
Since filming this podcast, Insomniac commented that Spider-Man: Miles Morales is a “standalone game,” and Bethesda has since clarified the multiplayer components of Deathloop (that said, we definitely hint at all these things in our discussions).
We continue to do this show from our homes as we hunker down in quarantine, so please forgive us for any audio or video hiccups as we deliver content outside the studio.
